FAMILY ADVOCACY:
To represent and support the family unit as the heart of family life and promote the Pamlico County community as the “shelter of each other”.
Parent Education Opportunities: Offered to all parents through seminars, family camps, weekend workshops, mentoring, family support groups and parenting classes.
Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) classes: A self-help personal wellness program that promotes self confidence, self esteem, relaxation and stress reduction for adults and youth.
Family Resource Center: Located at the Safe Harbor Youth Center as a resource for educational and supportive materials for families.
Community Connections: Strives to develop and support connections within the Pamlico County community in order to better address the needs of children and families. Includes schools, churches, libraries, government organizations, other nonprofits and local medical services.
